Información sobre becas en España

Dear friends,

The Education Office of the Embassy of Spain in the U.S.A. is glad to announce the opening of the period for applications for our program of Language and Culture Assistants in Spain 2007-08.

This program, that started as a pilot program during the 2005-06 school year, with the allocation of 120 grants, grew by 400% this 2006-07, when 480 U.S. and Canadian last-year and recent college graduates are participating in the program. The number of grants for next school year doubles again to reach approx. 1,000 -which indicates the wide acceptance of the program both by the participaating elementary and secondary schools in Spain and by the applicants in the U.S. and Canada.

Given the great opportunity that these grants offer to your students and graduates that may be interested in learning more about Spain, our language and culture, as well as in acquiring teaching experience in a foreign educational system, we kindly ask you to help us disseminate the information on this excellent program.
